We had a fun day with the WHOLE family again. Steve & I took the middle group of kids with my parents around Adventure Land! We had a BLAST! There were 6 kids ages 5-8 (including Po) We took them on the Jungle Cruise & it was so funny to watch them! When the boat driver told them to duck down because the Purana were going to get them, they all HIT the floor & ducked for cover! They were old enough to understand what he was saying & young enough not to realize it was a joke! HA HA HA! The best part was when we went under the waterfall & the guy said, everyone HOLD your breath, we are about to go under water and all the kids held their noses & breath! It was hilarious, watching all of them! The kids could not understand why the rest of us were not heeding to the man's precautions or why we were laughing at them!! LOL
the must have picture- at the front gate garden!
I loved all the orange

Po waiting in line to go on Indiana Jones for the first TIME!
He was our driver on the Indiana Jones ride!
All tuckered OUT!
Wed- was just our own day to spend in the parks. So Steve & I took the boys to the Jedi Training, in Tomorrow Land! It was the first session for that day & not very crowded. They were starting to pick kids from the audience & our boys were not jumping around all excited, like the other kids & we did not think they would be picked- but they were!
It was so FUN to watch them participate, they had such a good time. The Jedi's taught them how to engage & dis-engage their light saber and different moves they could use in an attack. Then Darth Vader came up from the ground, the boys loved it! They even received a certificate for achievement of their training. We headed over to California Adventure after lunch & we wanted to go on the Grizzly river Run, because it was so HOT! But it was closed, since the weather had been so extremely HOT- the water level was too low, to safely run the ride. :( bummer.
Wed-
Almost all the characters were made of pumpkins on top of the entrance
The first ride we went on that day was Peter Pan- we ran straight to the ride & we still stood in line for over 20minutes! So crazy!
They Loved it!
As soon as it was Po's turn to fight Darth Maul- he whipped out his lightsaber & his trainer said- disengage, DISENGAGE your weapon, your not ready yet! ha ha- he was so eager to FIGHT!
SO AWESOME!
All ABOARD! We rode the train to go over to Toon Town! I usually enjoy the long tunnel, where the dinosaurs are- but this time it was like a tunnel of DEATH! It was SOO hot in there, no breeze, no a/c- I kept fanning myself & the kids- SAVE the kids!!
Notice that my daughter has no shoes! Well earlier in the day, I left the kids with Steve & I went on Space Mountain and he took the kids on the Buzz Lightyear ride, over & over- and on one of those times, he lost her sandal! dagger!! We checked back, but they had not found anything yet- so as disgusted as I was, my daughter walked around in her socks the rest of the day! YUCK!
She loved this ride SO much, she did not want to get off!!
looks like Hj passed out from heat exhaustion! Not really, I don't know what he was doing!
apparently she needed to lay on the ground too! LOL
She loved seeing all the characters, she just kept waving & waving! So cute!
gotta have a picture on the popsicle bench! Yes, Kenz is wearing her brothers shorts- she had a little accident & needed some thing to wear! :)
on the tram- so ready for bed!
the cute scene that you see as you ride the tram!
Fri- Steve & I took my 3 nephews & our boys to the parks. We left Kenz back at the house with my sister! It was fun, just having the big kids! Our goal was to go on all the BIG rides/roller coasters! As soon as we parked our car- it started RAINING! I thought the whole day was going to be miserable, but luckily it stopped raining as soon as we got on the tram! Since we were already wet, we went on Splash Mountain. My boys LOVED it! They loved all the songs & characters, and they did not seem to mind the big drop!
My boys' favorite ride was the Jumpin' Jellyfish down at the Pier, in California Adventure. So I told them there was a ride called the Tower of Terror, that is a lot like the Jellyfish ride & they were so excited to go on it! So we got in line & they were just happy as can be, looking around the hotel lobby- saying that it looked like Halloween in there! They started panicking when we got into the ride cart. With the metal seats & bars everywhere- they were not so sure about the ride any more. I sat by Hj & Steve sat by Po and off we went! When we reached the TOP, Hj screamed when he looked out! ( later he told me, "When we got to the top, I could see the whole wide village & it was SCARY!" )
The boys did not really cry, but they were NOT happy that we took them on the ride! So afterwards we bought them a churro! YUM! Our last ride was the Grizzly river Run- it was Hj's first time. (since it had been closed before) He was excited to get wet & we told him it was KINDA like Splash Mountain, so he knew there were some hills. After we reached the TOP of the big wooden lift, the raft was being SLOWLY lowered into the water & Hj let out the ear piercing SCREAM! After realizing that it was not a BIG hill, he started laughing- we were all laughing SO hard! It was hilarious watching my boys' faces as we bounced around the waves. Po seemed to be missing all the water, until this wave sprayed some water RIGHT on his face!! ha ha ha- it was such a FUN day! :)
The boys in line for big Thunger Mountain!
I didn't want to buy the boys a hat- but I thought these halloween ones were SO cute! Jack & FrankenMickey!
This pic is not at D-Land, but it is Kenz in her cute Minnie hat!

He cracks me up- when its too bright, he covers up ONE eye! HE is a pirate.
Our Tower of Terror picture, I am holding tight onto Hj, who you can't see. Steve is with Po, who later said " Dad told me to SMILE when we got to the top, so I obeyed!" So that is why he looks happy!
