Yay! Go Team! Go, Fight, Win!!
Po & a bunch of his neighborhood friends played soccer together! I think they had a good time! It was fun to watch them run around the field. Steve & I are not really into sports and we are not real competitive either. So I don't know what we were expecting our boy to do.....but skipping and doing his own thing out there, wasn't it! ha ha ha
He would do whatever he wanted on the field, pick a dandelion, skip around on the opposite side of the field- ya know just hang out! And apparently, Steve did the same thing growing up!! His Mom said that he never really paid attention to what was going on with the game.

Po really wanted to be the goalie! But there are not any goalies in the Kindergarten leagues. But that did not stop Po, he stood in front of the goal all the time. Once Po & his friend were both standing in front of the goal-only it was OUR goal! So when someone on our team came running over with the ball, about to score, we were all yelling- MOVE OUT OF THE WAY! Look OUT! Well of course he did not move & we did not score! Darn. Ha ha ha It was pretty FUNNY! And we all got a good laugh.

He would tell the coach all the time that he was too hot, too cold, too thirsty, too hungry- to stay in the game & he would come running off the field to whatever it was he wanted! ha ha ha Or he would just take a seat in the middle of the field & pull the grass or watch the other players!! He was always 10 steps behind everyone else & was very entertaining! We'll see if he wants to play again next year?!
